Rhodes harbour. Mandraki.
The weather was not quite good.

More Mandraki. To the right large ship from Dane Sea Line which might or might not be Danish. Not reproduced: the sad whine (probably ship wall grating against harbour wall) that hung over the town all day.

One of three small towers (and a very small castle) guarding Mandraki's Southern side.

Leaping sea. There was lots of it. Not reproduced: car-park behind orthodox church that's underwater during storms. (People leave their cars there at all times, nonetheless. Also only free car park in Rhodes City.)

If it hadn't tumbled into the sea at some point, this is where the colossus would be standing now. These days, they have deer.

This picture shouldn't be here.

This one's a but sharper. But still.

OK, I did photograph a lot of water. There was the problem with the memory stick, though ...

Small pool off the Kalithea thermes. The flood ( or ebb) sucks the water from it and then pushes it pack in in a leisurely but persistent rhythm. Nice.
Of course, with some sort of Image Tank, this one could have been a video.

Orthodox church Rhodes City (by the harbour). Through the right-hand arch you can just make out the purple cloths that cover the alter and cross before Easter (airing before the service)

Incredibly beautiful.

Though I wish there'd been just a little more documentation.

Symi harbor. Bad weather again. All the tourists come here. *darn* (Yes, it is quaint and dimpled with merchantile history. Nice neoclassical architecture, as well. But all you can do between the boat arriving and leaving again is fight of a couple of sponge-dealers.

Incredibly clear water (did I mention this before?).

Ok, ok, but it was the last day ...
